I changed my tranny fluid last summer the filter screen is located at the bottom of the rear axle ( a screen filter that has to be cleaned). You fill the trans at the top my tractor has a removable plug just beside the dip stick. The manul suggest this maintance be done every 300 hrs. It sure helped my tractor. Let me know if you find out what is wrong with your 3 point hitch right now I have the same problem with mine.
