Al, first indication of gel problem was it would not go up a hill. Took off brush hog and it still would not go up. Power loss worsened and I limped it back to garage where it has rested, despite my efforts and exhortations since. Did some rudimentary maintenance to discover source of problem and resolved that gel problem by filter replacement, etc as discussed above. Have been trying everything I can think of but am as stumped as our Texas oilman President when it comes to solving this problem of the no start. Have successfully rebuilt a 6 cylinder auto diesel in the eighties and it was less of a conundrum than this.
