What happens when you try to start it? Does it crank over?

You saw it running fine, you bought it, put more diesel fuel in, and it won't run. Is that what happened? Did you have it delivered? Might the fuel valve have been shut off? Can you ask the seller about starting procedures?

Diesel fuel is not referred to as "gas"; are you sure it was diesel that you added? "Farm diesel" just means it's road-tax-free and therefore dyed red.
