Because it's the "D" model don't put it in 4 on a non-slip surface until you make sure the diameters, present and future, are kosher.
Turfs are generally more sought after, so maybe someone will be happy to trade with you. Some brands of Chinese tractors come with ag, and it's an extra $500 for turf. Another work-around is a set of chains for when you need the traction.
