Ummm, yes, they do. Perhaps not with the frequency that they appear on compact tractors in the US, but they most certainly do use them. We have such tractors offered to us almost every order, but seldom buy them because their tractors with loaders generally appear more used. Got one at the moment that is a gem, WITH the original japanese loader.
And while of course PS makes handling easier, the Yanmars in particular are not difficult to handle with a loader and no PS. I've used one more times than I can count over 10 years or so, and it's not at all like some utility tractors without PS.
