OK - THIS IS MY FIRST ATTEMPT IN FINDING AN ANSWER TO MY QUESTIONS AFTER INSPECTING THE LITTLE BRUTE. I BOUGHT THE TRACTOR FOR $500.00 BUCKS WITH A LOADER AND A GANNON AND AN UNDERSTANDING THAT THAT TRACTOR DOES NOT GO INTO GEAR. KNOWING ALOT ABOUT CARS AND TRUCKS I THOUGHT TO MYSELF THAT THAT DID NOT SOUND RIGHT. I GOT THE TRACTOR HOME AND IT WENT RIGHT INTO GEAR WITH THE TRACTOR OFF. I TOOK THE INJECTION SYSTEM APPART AND BLED THAT OLD GAS. REASSEMBLED AND THE DIESEL FIRED RIGHT OFF WITH A PLUM OF BLACK SMOKE - THE BEST KIND!! THE TRACTOR STARTED IN GEAR - HIGH, LOW, AND REVERSE - AND THE ONLY TIME THAT IT GRINDS IS WHEN IT IS IN GEAR AND WHEN THE CLUTCH IS DEPRESSED!! YES - I SAID DEPRESSED - NOT RELEASED! THE TRACTOR IS A MANUAL TRANSMISSION - NOT A POWERSHIFT SO I AM THINKING THAT IT IS THE CLUTCH . . . .RIGHT? SO - IF IT IS THE CLUTCH - WHY DOES IT START TO GRIND WHEN I PUSH IN THE CLUTCH?? ANY AND ALL HELP WOULD BE GREAT AS I AM GOING TO BE DOING THE REPAIR MYSELF - THANK YOU TO ALL THAT REPLY!!
