On my ym2500 the charge light is on . Battery is new and seems to be fine. Alt belt is good and also tight. I see no problem with any wires or connections, so i am assuming the culprit to be my alternator. It is a Hitachi alt with no visible numbers on it. Is there any to tell if the problem is alternator without removing it and taking to a shop for their testing?
