UPDATE:
I called a Yanmar Dealer in Texas and was told that the axle bearings, are indeed, sealed bearings. They also related that the plugs on the bottom side of the axles are for draining of any water, condensation that's worked it's way in there. The actual axles, are not supposed to be bathing in fluid, as I had previously thought. The gear/trans fluid that dripped out, found it's way there through a leaking seal in the brake housing, this was per the Reputable Dealer in Texas. Wow, love this board, it's fantastic and thanks again to all who responded.
