Many dealers fill transmission with cheap type A red auto transmission fluid. Thats what mine had when brought home. I would drain out, remove and clean filter/screen and refill with tractor hydrolyic fluid that says on can meets JD spec 303. It is sold at walmart, tractor supply, most auto parts stores. It will take about 4 gallons to fill.
