Clatter is one thing, movement is another. I'd not worry about replacing a mount or a bolt or even a piece of frame, but about damage to the drive system aft of the engine.

As for the "raise" test, the fluid was near operating temp but that much down-force needs high revs. If you were giving it enough the wheels should clear in 2-3 secs.

An installed FEL and a good mid-mower is worth the asking price, so if you're getting a 4WD tractor essentially free, you shouldn't mind it needing SOME repairs. Just not a total rebuild.
