You might need to be asking some of these questions on the JD forum; however you would need the YM engine # to find a cross, the trans does not provide the torque, the engine does, and on a YM at least, the engine, bell housing, trans and rearend are all bolted together forming a unit that is, in fact, the tractor frame, so no back and forth shake unless some loose bolts.
