If your first tractor, being older, it will need service sometime, so I'd visit a JD dealer and tell the main service tech that your 755 needs various engine work, and can he do it. If he's willing and can get parts, then I'd hire someone who knows compact tractors to check this for you, because good price if good shape. The HS feature is simply an automatic clutch pedal for when you want it. I don't know the JD-Yanmar equivalents are (I'm sure somebody else will) but there are many 3-cyl yanny models.
