I have done just about what you are working at and did it with a YM1810. I do not have a FEL. Instead, I trailored it to S. Carolina years ago and had a device called "The Chief" installed. This is a rear mounted (three point hitch) loader bucket that has an hydraulic ram that attached as the third (upper) member. The control for the ram sits on the right fender. I therefore have me a rear loader. It will only go as high as the TPI will lift, but it will dump just like an FEL an I assure you it has made my 1810 a whole different machine. I also have a tiller, scrape blade, bush hog, spreader and I maintain a road/trail system on my acres and also maintain 3 to 4 acres of food plots. I also have a one-row planter/cultivator that I use to do all my gardening. I do believe you are heade in the right direction. You will spend many hours of satisfying work doing what you are planning.
(Incidentally, when you are clearing you ground for gardens and plots, you might need a turning plow. I did. After you've cleared all the roots out, you will find you tiller will work much better.)
