There's no loader so it's only the hitch? Before pricing a heart transplant, have you seen to the hitch adjustments? Models vary but look in the seat area for knobs (mine are black plastic), one to control the fluid flow, the other to lock the raised hitch.
If that's how you keep the hitch up, that's what it's for. Your only rear suspension is tire flex, and not being damped the flexing can actually aggravate the bumping. When you carry a rear implement on even a smooth road, the inevitable bumps can put momentary strains on the hitch that far exceed its design lift capacity.
