Before you take out that third mortgage, consider this possible scenario. The pump is a simple pair of gears that must spin fast to provide adequate pressure against a sustained draw. When starting up, the cold fluid is a bit more viscous, needing less gear speed, and you gingerly operate one implement at a time to confirm everything's working. Later, in the middle of a job, you're asking more of the system, so it appears that the system is failing, whereas it's working as designed.
