I've been putting 100 hs/yr doing a vast variety of jobs and occasionally abusing my 226D (like rolling it into a stream) since I got it new. I've done a few repairs on top of maintenance, but would say it's only about half-way through its life cycle. How long have I working it? Over 35 years. It will outlast me.
However, further to Bruce, if you're offered a "factory refurbishment" (does not exist) you're probably getting a repainted machine that was used 24/7. And Yanmar does make tractors into the 40 HP range, but they are rather rare above the low 20s. If you want that much power, you might also look at other brands such as Kubota and maybe domestics. Finally, there are two basic types of tire tread ("turf" and "ag") and which you get can determine what you can do with the tractor.
