I have just purchased an Oliver 2050 which I plan to restore, anyone know where I may find some straight side panels? Mine look to be made from gauze and I don't think they are original. The tractor starts well and sounds good, clutch and gears including the hydro shift all seem to be good.
As for the hydraulics, I have never seen such an abortion before! There is a front mounted pump driven from the crank with lines coupled straight into the bank end. I am now wondering if this was an attempt to bypass the tractors own circuit? The seller told me the 3 pt hitch didn't work, the arms are chained up but I don't believe there are any hydraulics working although the power steering is very good.

I had to purchase her sight unseen and as she is very different to my 1655 and 1850 I am a little lost at present.

I don't have a parts book yet so can't make out where these lines are plumbed in. Is there any way to post photos on this forum? or I can e-mail photos direct if anyone can offer any advice.
