In Reply to: 1955 Super 55-Distributor Indentification and Carb Leak posted by Gentleman Farmer on Tuesday, October 09, 2012:
Now that I have ordered the ignition parts for my Delco distributor, I need to attack the carburetor problem.
I have determined the carb is actually a Carter UT 2257S. I have located a pricy rebuild kit (Mike's Carburetors), but am looking for additional parts, like a new float. Any suggestions for sourcing?
Thanks to all, as always.
