I have a 1992 White 125 Workhorse w/FWD that is starting to show problems with the Over/Under power shift that I'm sure needs an overhaul. I hate to spend $3500+ to a dealer to repair it. I am fairly mechanically inclined but have never tackled such a job as pulling the engine and clutch to get to the over/under shift. If I purchase the service & repair manual, is that a repair that I can do, or at least get it pulled out to be repaired by a service dept? I have all winter to do the job and my labor doesn't cost $100/hr. Or should I leave this to a shop that knows (mostly) what they are doing?
