i tried to start my oliver 1850 diesel yesterday and when i hit the glow plug button the negative cable on the battery 'melted' off the battery post in a matter of seconds. do i have a bad glow plug(s) or would this be a grounding issue? does anyone know if this is supposed to be wired with a positive ground? how many amps do glow plugs draw? any help would be greatly appreciated!!! thanks
