Hello, I have a 1954 Oliver oc3 that runs well and starts everytime when cold but sometimes if I shut it down when it is hot, it takes a bit to get it started again. It will backfire through exhaust and sometimes the intake, but after a while it will start. I have rebuilt the mag and re-set the lag angle timing, but the marks on back of mag are a bit vauge on where to start. Could this be causing this problem? Any help would be appreciated.
