Perhaps you have a S55 that someone put a 550 axle under. I am not sure, but an axle from a 550 would probably fit, look right and maybe have heavier parts. There MAY even be a special axle for industrial tractors or maybe even some axle from the WHITE era (eg. 2-44).
A casting number from the part you need or on the axle itself would be a big help.
