Your Engine is a White or Hercules engine. White owned Hercules for some years and later sold it. It continued producing engines up until about 1999 or 2000. Excellent engine, but a little pricey for parts.
Some of the employees took over the tooling and technology of the company and supply parts.
Here is their web site for your info. You should be able to get anything you need for your D198ER.
I have 2 gas engines in my tractors - GO198 models as well as a DD339H diesel engine in another tractor.
