I have recently replaced a worn hydraulic pump on my 2-135. I followed directions precisely. I filled pump and filter housing with fluid before starting. directions required bleeding of system on the outlet side. I tried to do so but nothing but air bubbles came out and some fluid. In fear of damaging the pump I stopped doing this. I wondering how fluid gets from the pickup in the pan to the pump. Does the pump create a vacumn or is there an alternate pump, gear, or system that gets fluid to the pump that I am not aware of. Any information on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
