I have an Oliver 77 diesel, I've drained the case of gear lube. The case sits under the seat on my tractor and I opened the plug underneath the carriage to let out all the water and gunky gear lube. Problem -- the cap to refill the gear lube does not have a dipstick attached to the cover, and I don't know how much gear lube to put back in. Does anyone know the capacity so that I can measure out the amount and replace the fluid. The cap is about 2 and one half inches across and sits between the two brake pedals. There is also another plug about one to two feet back from the first plug on the underside, and I wonder if I should drain it also, but I don't know where the refill cover is and how much that unit needs to be full but not overfull.
