do i need a new pump, or should i check something else first. when the oil is cold, everything works fine. when it has been used long enough for the oil to be hot, i need to have the engine reved up to 1300 rpm's for the steering, 3 point and remotes to work. i changed the oil and filter, but that didn't help.
how big a job is it to remove/replace the pump? can i to it myself, or do you need some special knowledge, tools, gauges, ect?
it is a vickers pump. there is a company in souix falls that will rebulid them if they aren't completely shot.
