i have a 1600 backhoe. the man i bought it from said he had the torque converter rebuilt and when he reinstalled it the tractor would only go forward.he thinks that when it was rebuilt they locked it up.i checked the linkage and it looks ok.with the tractor running it moves forward in the forward position and the neutral position,when you move the shift lever to the reverse position it stop moving and the tractor sonds like it is working(under small loud).thanks for any help and were is a good place to get parts.thank you.
