All: I am new to the tractor world.I just bought my small farm a year and a half ago. So new farm new fence right. I bought my liver super55 this spring and I have worked it hard all summer. Every now and then it would bog down like the carb was filling up I would tap on the carb witch was no help so I would open it up and it would come out of it.I started to blade with it and it got so bad it would hardly pull itself up hill in 1st. So I took the carb apart everything looked clean and the float was not sticking so I looked at the points they looked good. The tractor is a 4cyl with the old style distributor.I am a little young points where before my adult time. When you crank the motor it does smell like gas so I would guess carb but I am afraid i'm over looking something. Can anyone help the new guy out? thanks
