we have had our 720 for years. In 2000 I learned alot about knotters when we started having promlems with ours.I dont know how many bales your baler has baled or what kind of care it has had? 2 things has it not be in use for awhile ? If so rust becomes a problem some time even if stored inside.Make sure your twine knives are sharp, the billhooks are polished and move freely & that the rollers on them turn freely.2nd biggest problem I have seen is wear in the bill hooks. If your bill hooks are woren out I bilieve that are still ava. from agco.part #502 423-es but are quite spendy The knotter assy is almost exz. like john deere so close that we michined out acouple of parts .010 and put in JD billhooks 2 reasons 1 they are super cheep in price(virs agco)and very ready ava. 2 now you hae a choise between hooks for plastic or sisel twine. hope this helps some
