Apparently when Ertl took over AMT models in the early 1990's they did offer a line of plastic models of farm tractors and machinery that were like car models of the day, requiring assembly and paint, but it didn't sell well and was discontinued. I've researched this and apparently they do pop up on Ebay from time to time, but sell for around $50 because of their "rarity"
