I am definitely NOT an expert on these, butI see tham on Ebay in varying condition sell for between $100 to $500 depending on condition and rarity. The fact that yours is 50 years old in like new condition would make it worth while investing in researching this as you are doing. My wild guess is that it's at least worth a few hundred dollars, but I'm totally unfamiliar with how rare yours is, or if it has rare features that might make it worth more. But in any case, do not sell it at a yard sale for $5!!! Do you have any antique stores or auction houses in your area that might be able to give a more knowledgable answer? Or stop in your local Tractor Supply Company and check out their book rack, or the library. It really is worth a little time to check it out.
