The transmission had a bad bearing, when i started tearing it down i noticed the tapered pins that were wired, were loose also t noticed the large nuts that had carter pins in them were loose also.
are they supposed to be that way or have they worked loose, and need to be tight.
any help would be appreciated. thanks, john
