The original Hoosier implement company made seed drills, and was aquired by the Oliver tractor company in 1929, so if your seat is original, it predates 1929, but there are a LOT of reproduction Hoosier seats out there. Most made to honor Indiana's farming heritage. Some tractors came with metal seats until the 1950s.
