my father has a jd 2030 diesel. i was cutting a field and it idled to almost a stop. i thought maybe it was out of fuel. towed it back home refilled the fuel tank, no good. thought maybe the fuel filter was clogged. looked terrible maybe easy solution, replaced with a new one, nothing. my step-uncle also has a jd tractor said when his did that it was the injection pump. removed had rebuilt reinstalled it ran perfect for 1-2 hrs then died to a idle again. filter is good, fuel is in tank, injector pump has been rebuilt, any other suggestions are greatly appreciated!
