Before you try to start it, I'd drain the oil, fuel, coolant and replace all with fresh. I'd pull the spark plugs (if a gas engine) and give a squirt of Marvel Mystery oil in each cylinder. I'd chack the plugs gap before reinstalling them. And I'd try to slowly manually turn the engine over (use a wrench on the crank shaft) to be sure it is not siezed. I'd check the inside of the air filter for mouse nests, put in a clean filter, and check all wiring for rodent damage. If you are real lucky, it will fire up for you without causing any damage.
