I have a John Deere 24 hay baler the letter after the serial is E - is this a 24T? A dealer looking at pictures thought so.

We're having trouble with the knots. The baler was outside for the winter. I think we found all the grease fittings, have threaded according to diagram.

The arm that drives the knotter had some rust which had caused it to hang up, moving now.

The twine feeds, generally cuts but hangs up on the knotters. My guess is either we need to adjust the timing or we have a hang up in the tie assembly.

Can anyone explain how to set timing? Also I would like to purchase a copy of the manual if any one is willing to have theirs photocopied.
