Three point hitch mounted is the way to go since Ferguson designed it in the forties.Your intuition with the Farmall should work with any North American Tractor. So three furrows woud take ..say thirty to forty horses from what I hear you say. Generalizations are difficult because conditions vary....flat or hilly, sand or clay, shallow or deep, dry or wet etc
