What are the horsepower needs between a 2=-bottom and a 3-bottom plow? We currently have a Farmall A with an ancient 2-bottom plow that we use for our one acre garden. It sometimes struggles if conditions are not perfect and I was not looking forward to doing the larger area with that setup. I was looking to upgrade with new(er) tractor before tackling the larger area. Perhaps 2 plows with adequate tractor would be a good compromise with less cost.
As far as the tiller, I had not, but mainly because I enjoy working with the plow and disk.
Mower - I will have about 25 more acres in a conservation program that plants native grasslands. This will have to be mowed once every 3 years. So rough mowing, not a lawn.
Snow - We do not get a great amount of it here, so it is not an immediate concern. However, we can get the occasional blizzard and I might get some add-on in the future.
