I am kind of new to the whole old tractor thing but I am learning. I have recently purchased a 1949 Ford 8N tractor. I changed the oil that was disgusting and put in new and changed the oil filter. There is a major leakage of oil coming out of the oil filter area. ANY IDEAS WHY? It wasn't leaking before I changed it. I have it tighted down good...or at least I think I do. DOES THE FILTER NEED SCREWED DOWN OR DOES IT JUST SET IN THE FILTER CASING? If anyone can help me that would be great. Thanks.
