I have a Kubota B6000, which is 4wd, 13hp diesel. The PTO runs backwards but has 3 speeds which is nice. I mounted a blower from my old Mastercrap lawn tractor that I run off the PTO. I put some pics up at www.putfile.com/parklandresort.

The performance is fair but I can't run the PTO at 3; the tractor bogs with nearly no load. With the PTO at 2 it throws 10 ft average, and I can use forward gear low 1-2. With the PTO at 1 (540 rpm) it throws 3 ft average and I run at forward low 3 or high 1. The tractor doesn't bog at all but the blower plugs up.

I'd like to change the pulleys to speed up the blower but if I end up blowing the same distance will the tractor bog at the same forward speed? Is this a power or torque thing?
