I have just replaced the crankshaft in my Ford 3000, but when i tighten the conrods to the shaft i cannot turn it by hand. I have oiled shells before fixing to crankshaft, but i,m not sure if i should be able to turn the crankshaft by hand.

Please can someone let me know before i put the engine back to the rest of the tractor
