I just purchased a property that has 7 acres of Grass (mostly Bahia and Tall weed). With the property came a 02 New Holland TC40D. Long story short, the previous owner told me to run the tractor @ 3,000 RPM (pegged) all the time even when bush hogging. My mechanic said absolutely not. 2100 Max RPM.Even when cutting. Who is right? Thanks.
