I recently bought a ford 5000 tractor. I was told it was a 1985, but in trying to locate a service manual for it, I can only find the 5000 series in the 60's and early 70's. Have I been duped? The tractor runs good but I probably wouldn't have bought it if I had known it was that old. I have tried to look it up on the internet using the serial and model numbers off the tractor, but I can't find any numbers that match.
