Daniel is correct. There is no shaft coupler to positively disengage the PTO.Worst design ever. Pulling up on PTO lever to disengage is merely the same as riding foot on clutch all day.It simply uses Throwout bearing against fingers to keep PTO disc disengaged. Throwout bearing & PTO fingers will prematurely wear out. Do as Daniel suggests as I do, BUT! Always remember safety!!!when working behind tractor.
