If it has an electric solenoid on the injection pump, check the connections.. if its a manual shut off, make sure the lever isn't vibrating to the shut off position..
You can check the lift pump, if it acts like its running out of fuel.. spits and sputters then dies. some have a filter screen in the top of the lift pump, remove the top screw and lift off the cap.. see if it has a screen.. you can check the conditions of the valves while your in there.
