Keith, Most of these transmissions have a shifter interlock in them and the shifter locks in gear when the clutch pedal returns to the top. Check to see that your clutch pedal returns all the way to the top of the travel. If not, check the condition of your return spring. Make sure you don't ride the clutch pedal while traveling.
