Thanks for the input, I keep a pretty good cut on the feilds now but each 40 acres takes about 16 hours to cut with a 6 ft pull behind mower. I mow in low ranger 3 gear until i get to the heavy stuff and then slow down to 2 gear. i keep my pto rpm about 621 and tractor rpm about 1500 to 2000 rpm. pretty much got the small trees mowed down and I try not to let the grass get about 1 ft tall. So you think I will be ok with a batwing say 15 ft.
