I removed my carb today and cleaned it out well. I didn't have new gaskets so I coated both sides with wheel bearing grease and screwed it down very tight. Backed the high speed needle out three turns and put it back in place.
I fired it up and it ran like a champ. No adjustments needed.
I took my 6' mower around the field in wet johnson and bahaia grass and weeds. It worked great. Got it up to running temp and all was well. Hasn't run this well in a long time.
This may be the fix, but only time will tell.
