I have a IH 444 doing the same thing.
It starts great, runs great for an hour or two and then acts like it's running out of gas. If I choke it I can nurse it along and sometimes it comes back for a while and runs good but only for a few minutes, then back to spit and sputter, loss of power, etc.
I too have rebuilt the carb several times but it's been a while. It ran great and one day it just started acting up.
Tomorrow I am going to clean the carb, make a heat shield to add between engine and carb. and put some insullation on fuel lines at engine.
Will get back if it workes or not.
