What is too HOT? You did not say if a new problem or a new tractor for you. Hydraulics do run hot, metal too hot to touch. It is designed for that. The fact it has a cooler says it needs help staying within temp tolerances. 150-200 degrees. or up to same as engine coolant temperatures. If really hot then maybe the relief valve is not working right and overworking the pump or one of your hydraulic connections is dead headed causing stress on your pump.
